Help and Advice on CADD and Design Software for Architects
2D Productivity, 3D CADD Modeling

Architectural CADD Design Services
For our Architectural CADD Design Services we have a colaborative network of designers ranging from licensed architects and engineers to recent design school graduates all across the United States. We extensively make use of online extranets to interchange drawings, fax, phone, and online netmeeting software, all with a variety of Architectural CADD programs.
If you wish - we will show you how we do it

However, for each project we evaluate the most appropriate software given the project criteria, starting information, and the needed endproducts. We frequently show the firms who hire us how we do it so that they can do it for themselves the next time - kind of works us out of a job, but we still get plenty of work, possibly partly because of this approach. Thus, we are happy to do the modeling in, say, your VectorWorks, or your old AutoCAD 14, or even your new Autodesk ArchitecturalDesktop2005 and Revit, and show you all our tips and techniques along the way if you wish.

Architectural Design

Our extended team of Design Associates includes architects, engineers, and interior designers in several US states and several countries. They include architects licenced in New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, Pennsylvania, and Oregon. We can match you with an appropriate designer for your particular situation.

We are united under a set of values for architectural design, which include a sense of "design with nature" sustainability (green architecture), solar and energy conscious design, and appropriate contextuality. We also are a group of architects way-ahead of our colleages in our use of architectural CADD design software, and extensively use "virtual building" also known as BIM (Building Information Modeling) techniques in all our work. We believe that creating architecture using virtual building techniques for design inherently helps design coordination (avoiding costly mistakes that 2D drafting approaches are prone to) helps us do better design (by allowing us to check views, aesthetics, daylighting, sunlighting, energy analysis, and structureal/HVAC integration) and, allow us to do all this faster.
