Help and Advice on CADD and Design Software for Architects 2D Productivity, 3D CADD Modeling
Architectural CADD Design Services
For our Architectural CADD Design Services we have a colaborative network of designers ranging from licensed architects and engineers to recent design school graduates all across the United States. We extensively make use of online extranets to interchange drawings, fax, phone, and online netmeeting software, all with a variety of Architectural CADD programs.
If you wish - we will show you how we do it

However, for each project we evaluate the most appropriate software given the project criteria, starting information, and the needed endproducts. We frequently show the firms who hire us how we do it so that they can do it for themselves the next time - kind of works us out of a job, but we still get plenty of work, possibly partly because of this approach. Thus, we are happy to do the modeling in, say, your VectorWorks, or your old AutoCAD 14, or even your new Autodesk ArchitecturalDesktop2005 and Revit, and show you all our tips and techniques along the way if you wish.

CADD management - IT (Information Technology)

CADD has become a critical function within all design firms in the construction industry, but keeping it all running smoothly it a task in itself. We can work with your IT staff to give them guidelines, or, for many small offices, we become a kind of part-time CADD management support team.

We purchace and set up computers (Windows and Macintosh) and set up networks. Most importantly, we set up the CADD software so that libraries can be shared, create layer standandards and plot style standards, file exchange protocols between different CADD programs your engineering consultants may be using , create backup systems unique to CADD, and troubleshoot CADD issues (all things that most computer network companies do not do.) We frequently work with computer service people that design firms have contracted (and even translate english to you if their tech-speak isn't clear).

We can be on-call with service retainers, or just come in on an hourly basis for maintenance, or troubleshooting.
