3D SYMBOL LIBRARIES FOR ARCHITECTURAL CAD SOFTWARE

CADsymbolsT Introduces the Viking Product Line of Appliances in .DWG Format
New York, NY (Sept. 18, 2000) - Cardiff Consultants, Limited, is pleased to announce the release of CADsymbolsT Library CS01, the fIrst in its series of 3D model libraries in .dwg format designed for use with architectural CAD software. Models in this library are constructed of 3dfaces with normals facing outwards, ready for the assignment of materials by layer or by individual 3dface.
Due to the interest expressed in its ChiefSymbolsT libraries for Chief Architect® by users of other CAD applications, Cardiff has embarked upon a major program to produce 3D models in other file formats for users of such products as ArchiCAD, ArchiTECH PC, AutoCAD, DataCAD, IntelliCAD, 3D Studio VIZ, and VectorWorks. The symbols comprising CADsymbolsT Library CS01 are constructed of 3dfaces with normals facing outwards, ready for the assignment of materials by layer or by individual 3dface, and can easily be opened or imported into any program capable of working with 3D v14 .dwg files.
CADsymbolsT Library CS01 contains 150 symbols of products from the Viking Range Corporation product line. This is the first time that the Viking product line has been made available to users of any CAD application. Products in the library include all the gas ranges, dual-fuel ranges, and gas rangetops; all refrigeration products; all gas and electric wall ovens, including electric warming drawers and micro-chambers; the trash compactor; the dishwasher; and exhaust hoods.
CADsymbolsT library CS01 boosts productivity by allowing users to design what they want without time-wasting workarounds and permits creation of the realistic 3D environments and images needed for professional work product in today's competitive and technologically advanced environment.
