Note from Architectural CADD : ArchPro is a well featured architectural CADD software, oriented towards production drawings. It is frequenly bought as an add-on to AutoCAD, but it will also work equally well with IntelliCAD, and also has a "stand-alone" version. Eagle Point also makes a slew of industry specific software for Civil Engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, etc. all of which interact with ArchPro.
Comments from Architectural CADD : Eagle Point developed LandCADD, which is unquestionably the best software in its class (for landscape architecture). Their architectural software has historically never been as successful, as it was challenging and complex to learn and a clumsy add-on to AutoCAD 12 and 13. In the past few years, though, Eagle Point is emerging as one of the strongest alternatives to Autodesk ArchitecturalDesktop (ADT), and is favored by many firms that still use AutoCAD 14, and AutoCAD 2000, not upgrading to AutoCAD 2002, and, with the new options of stand-alone and IntelliCAD, makes it possible to have real architectural AutoCAD stations for a fraction of the cost of ADT. Thus, we see ArchPro, possibly their re-vamped ArchT, and especially Eagle Point Inc. as growing significantly over the next few years.

EAGLE POINT 99 Q1 99 RELEASE IN MARCH

Civil/Survey 99 and LANDCADD 99 will be released on the Q1 quarterly update CD in March. The update includes many enhancements including; RoadCalc 99, LANDCADD 99 for MicroStation, Network project performance gains, GUI Enhancements for "sinking" dialogs behind CAD, Command flow improvement for CAD intensive commands (Place Node, Line/Curve Annotation, etc.)and Bug fixes.

LANDCADD 98 MODULES AVAILABLE AS STAND ALONE
LANDCADD 98 modules are now available as a Stand Alone solution (no CAD required) in addition to their AutoCAD and IntelliCAD-based modules. LANDCADD 98 modules have traditionally run on AutoCAD, and most recently, IntelliCAD. Eagle Point is now offering Stand Alone LANDCADD 98 modules which allow the user to run a module without having to purchase a separate CAD engine, while offering the same power, functionality and ease of use.
