Features in 9.07.01

1. The Object Viewer window now remembers its last position and size.

2. The extended character code 243 opens the Object Viewer.

Features in 9.07:

01. DataCAD 9.07 adds direct support for eZ meeting, a peer-to-peer internet conferencing software for CADD drawings. From the View menu DataCAD users can launch the current view as either a 2D, 3D, or bitmap image into an eZ meeting conference.

02. An o2c-based Object Viewer has been added to the View pull-down menu to provide real-time, dynamic, shaded 3D views of DataCAD models.

03. A new context-sensitive popup menu has been added to facilitate the assignment of entities to GoTo Views, Internet URL's, and Files. The Hyperlink popup menu can be accessed by [CTRL] + Right-clicking on any entity.

04. Display of Hyperlinks. A Hyperlinks option has been added to the View pull-down menu to toggle on/off the highlighting of entities that contain either GoTo View, URL, or File hyperlinks.

05. New hotkeys, [CTRL] + Left Arrow and [CTRL] + Right Arrow toggle between the previous and current view respectively.

Fixes in 9.07:

01. Multi-weight 2D curves (Arcs, Circles and Polylines) with a linetype of Dotted, Dashed or Dot-Dash are now smoothed according to the ArcFactr setting in the Display menu. This works even if ClipCubes are used.

02. Associative dimensions will mirror correctly with FixText turned on.

03. Mirrored associative dimensions will now stretch correctly.

04. All extended character codes may now be input using [ALT] + 0(Code).

Known problems at time of release:

01. The Shade routine cannot be added as a command line alias.

02. Multiple instances of the same XREF will have the same layer set when batch exported then opened in AutoCAD.

Features in 9.05:

1. A Spell Checker has been added to the Tools pull-down menu.

2. The current input mode is now displayed on the Distance Readout line.

3. The .RAY file export function has been enhanced to include additional light sources: 1 Sunlight and 7 Spotlights.

Fixes in 9.05:

1. An error in the PDF file generator has been corrected.

2. An error with Text shifting within an XREF that was bound has been corrected.

3. An additional vertex that was added when creating a Polyline using the rectangle method has been eliminated.

4. Selecting Tangents [Shift-B] would change the current rubber-banding point. This has been corrected.

5. The display of Linetype and Hatch Pattern previews are no longer affected by clip cubes.

6. Plotting speeds should be back to normal.

7. When using coordinate input [Relative Cart or Relative Polar] and reference points to create a horizontal slab or polygon, DataCAD would not use the selected reference point. This has been corrected.

8. DataCAD will no longer crash when attempting to place an exploded symbol on a locked layer.

9. The Reference Point function has been corrected. This problem was especially noticeable when using Reference Point within the Stretch function.

10. Selecting the Root directory of a network drive while browsing paths within the Preferences dialog would add an extra '\' to the path. This has been corrected.

11. Highlighted XREFs assigned to a width pen of zero would still plot. This has been corrected.
