The Event and The Objectives ---- Architecture As A Spectator Sport
| Teams of architects and designers, as well as individuals who are advocates of their particular CADD system are given the challenge to design a building project including plans, sections, elevations, a dozen perspectives, the best two renderings they can manage, a virtual reality model for the Web, an animation sequence, details, and other required drawings. |

The purpose is to see what real architects have to say about the software, as well as sharing their insights on the limitations as well as the special features of their software.
People attending the event will be treated to a plethora of information concerning the future and current development of their firms, and real practical useful tips and techniques.
Results and the designs will be then posted on the World Wide Web.
Objectives :
Results and Fun - not Keystrokes
1. An opportunity to see architectural design software truly in use by designers - in a fast charrette - at which you can truly learn about the different software programs and new techniques with that software
2. An opportunity to design a project for a good cause - traditionally the purpose of all architectural charrettes
Stretch to the Limits
One of the objectives is to see what real architects have to say about the software, as well as sharing their insights on the limitations as well as the special features of their software. We would like to see the limits of what you can design with the software - so part of the design requirements will be to include certain 3D elements that would be a challenge to any 3D software.
