Mount Ida College -------------- Chamberlayne School of Design ---------------------- Newton, Massachusetts
A terrific opportunity for architects or interior designers who have been wishing to attend one of the famed CADD courses by
Professor Geoffrey Moore Langdon, AIA
the classes are known for being a fun, easy way to learn more 2D CADD, 3D CADD, Architectural CADD, digital imaging, and web page design, more comprehensively and faster and specific to the needs of architects and interior designers than any other course available.
The class concentrates on ArchiCAD, and AutoCAD, but we also cover DataCAD, VectorWorks, PhotoShop, and other software. The course philosophy is learning appropriate design software tools for architects. Concepts not commands - as future versions of software tends to change specific commands but concepts remain the same. The class starts with 3D modeling, and as the students learn more and more, we introduce how to deal with 2D production drawings in CADD, and then refine into more advanced topics from photorendering to paperspace layouts.
The opportunity is that this small class, currently only 4 people, is open to another two people. It is small enough that it can be customized to the needs of the particular attendee, and late arrivals can still be caught up with the rest of the class.
This is an official college 3 credit CADD I course in Architectural CADD - taught by the Interior Design department.
An entire 96 hour semester in only 5 weeks.
