CADD Contests

Several of the CADD software developers each year host a design contest for professionals and/or students each using that particular software - Autodesk sponsors an AutoCAD contest, Graphisoft an ArchiCAD contest, Autodessys a FormZ contest, and so on. There are also a few contests where contestants using one software are pitted agains those using other softwares, which may be useful for comparisons of how appropriate any given CADD or rendering software is for ones purposes.

Architects and students design a complete building with their favorite CADD software, and show how they did it - great for comparing different CADD software for architects, as well as forum for learning techniques.
