6:15 Welcome, Introduction, General Announcements

A real, live, bound copy of the new DataCAD book by Mike Smith and Rick

Morse will be available for you perousel.

 

6:30 DATACAD BASICS: Simple customization options: Text Scale &

PgUp/PgDn; Text/PltScale; Interface Settings; Draw Marks; Copy to

Clipboard options; Previous View options; Display List; Drop-down Macros

Menu; and some tricks using the DCADWIN.INI file.

 

7:15 WinView UTILITY: Evan Shu will show us a stand-alone utility that

comes with DataCAD Plus to allow you to view Plus or standard DataCAD

drawing files in 2D or 3D.

PDF Files: How to create PDF files in DCAD 9, and how you can use this

feature.

 

7:45 BREAK: Time to grab some refreshments, network with colleagues,

and share some tips and tricks.

 

8:00 XREFs: The ins and outs of using XREFs (External Reference Files)

in DataCAD 9. This is arguably the most important new feature in

DataCAD in many, many years, and we'll show you why.
